Our Facemask Challenge will commence in the leadup to our Saturday evening event. We’ll be posting incoming mask images to our social media pages where the greater steampunk community will be able to like their favorite creations. As face masks are becoming our new normal, it seams like the perfect accessory for Steampunk enthusiasts and makers of all kinds.
We want to see your stuff! Enter our contest for all to see. We will be awarding prizes and we will be keeping the spirit of the Gan SteamPunk Festival alive!
The criteria is simple. You must be able to breath comfortably in it. In other words, make it functional! It can bee simple like an embellished cloth mask, or as elaborate as you like: a unique take on a plague doctor mask, a gas mask, etc etc!
Voting will be done on social media (Instagram and Facebook) and three winners will be chosen on September 19th at the end of our Virtual Talent Showcase.
